Dr. Michele Conroy was selected to attend the young scientists assembly. She was invited to the IFSM dinner on the Saturday evening where she had the opportunity to network with microscopy experts in their field. The Assembly on the Sunday, consisted of workshops held at the University of Sydney by invited experts. Nobel Prize Winners Professor Joachim Frank and Professor Dan Shechtman led a thought provoking panel discussion with Q&A and group discussions encouraged networking with fellow future emerging leaders. Her atomic resolution STEM HAADF image was chosen at the YSA to be the cover of the Journal 'Ultramicroscopy'.
